Morocco really surprised us with its atmosphere and diversity. We have been to Marrakesh and Essaouira, two places that feel completely different. Marrakesh is busy, colorful and full of life - from the chaotic souks to the impressive Djemaa el Fna square. Essaouira, on the other hand, is nice and relaxed, with a beautiful white medina, lots of art and ocean views. Also nice: allergies go down well in Morocco.
