Posted on October 21, 2023
In this Seville Food Guide we give you our 5 tips for restaurants where we ate during our visit. All restaurants are located in the Jewish district of Santa Cruz, where we stayed.
Jester
If you look for food hotspots in Seville before your trip, you will undoubtedly come across Jester ! This coffee & juice business with two locations in the city, one of which is in the Santa Cruz district. This place not only has delicious coffee and juices, but also delicious bowls, cakes and sandwiches! Highly recommended to get a coffee to go but also to relax on the terrace. Take your time because Jester is popular, so you may have to wait a while.
Moya Brunch
Yet another brunch spot in the Jewish Quarter of Santa Cruz is Moya Brunch ! A place with a cool pink interior where, in addition to the delicious bowls, you will also find burgers! Moya Brunch is also laptop friendly, so you can sit down there if you want to work or study for a while.

Sal Gorda Halo
We stayed at the Halo Boutique Hotel and the associated Sal Gorda Halo restaurant had delicious tapas! The tapas was also served very nicely. So a tip! Both the terrace and the restaurant inside were in tip top condition. View the menu here.
El Beso
Not far from the hotel was El Beso ! A traditional tapas bar with some larger meat and fish dishes. I ate a tasty and filling hamburger here. A big plus was the menu on which all allergens were listed for each dish. So you can eat here with peace of mind.
Bar la Tradicional
There are many different tapas restaurants on Calle Mateos Gago that runs to Seville Cathedral. One of them is Tradicional, I ate here, as the name suggests, traditional tapas: patatas bravas and small ham croquettes! The restaurant is also family proof!
