Enjoy the versatile Mallorca

Posted on May 24, 2024

This island has everything! Beautiful beaches, villages with cozy streets where you can wander around and delicious food. Read this blog if you go to Mallorca and discover all the beautiful places!

Beaches

The beaches in Mallorca are beautiful! We stayed in Cala d'Or and there you have five bays with beaches. We thought Cala Petita and Cala Esmeralda were very beautiful. Here you also have nice restaurants where you can eat and drink something for lunch.

You also have very beautiful beaches outside Cala d'Or. You will find Cala Mondrago in the Mondrago Natural Park. You can also do nice walking routes in this park. Don't miss Cala Llombards, Cala Pi and Es Trenc. Get there early because it can get busy. At Alcudia the beach is beautifully extended and there is a boulevard with restaurants and shops.

Activities

Tired of lying on the beach? Fortunately, there is still plenty to see and do on Mallorca.

  • Santanyi: Definitely go to Santanyi sometime. This is a nice town with a market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. And do you want to take a rest between walking around? Then sit in the garden at Cafe Pablo.

  • Soller: Soller is a nice village where you can wander through the narrow streets. You also have some nice shops there. Take the tram to Port de Soller and enjoy delicious food at Nunu restaurant. You can eat tapas and good fish dishes here. They also have gluten free bread.

  • Palma: The beautiful capital cannot be missed on this list. You can feast your eyes here, because there are many beautiful buildings such as the cathedral. You can walk around here all day, shop and end the day on the beach.

  • Cap de Formentor: From this point you have a beautiful view. Visit Cap de Formentor at sunset and enjoy!

  • Park Natural de Mondrago: In this park you can enjoy walking, have beautiful viewpoints, but you can also relax on the beach.

  • Road trip Ma-10: This road goes straight through the mountains in the northwest of Mallorca. If you have a car, don't miss this route! And be sure to drive past Restaurant Es Guix. A unique place where you can swim in a small lake and have a nice, quiet meal.

  • Valldemossa and Deia: Two nice mountain villages that are definitely worth a visit!
