TREK Festival
Are you hungry and in the mood for cozy music? Then TREK Festival is the right place for you. The itinerant festival visits several cities, including Rotterdam. In the Vroesenpark you can fill your stomach for four days.
The Rotterdam Roof Days
During the Rotterdam Roof Days, the roofs of the city are opened to the public. You can enjoy beautiful views of the city and discover unique buildings and architecture. There are also numerous activities, such as workshops and concerts, taking place on the rooftops. In 2023, most of the spectacle will take place on the roof of Zuidplein shopping center.
Swan Market
If you are looking for unique souvenirs or fun gifts, the Swan Market is the place to be. This is a market where local entrepreneurs sell their products, from jewelry and clothing to handmade items. Within 5 years iKapitein has grown to become the water recreation company where you can go boating, biking, eating and supping. iKapitein is located in Historic Delfshaven. You get on at the Aelbrechtskolk after which you can go sailing, cycling or supping. Highly recommended.
World Port Days
In the first weekend of September, the World Port Days take place annually in Rotterdam. During this event you can take a look behind the scenes of Europe’s largest port. There are plenty of activities and demonstrations, from tours of ships to spectacular shows by the Navy and Coast Guard.
