In Mexico we fell in love with the Yucatán Peninsula, with its breathtaking cenotes, white beaches and mysterious Mayan ruins. Whether we were strolling the lively streets of Mérida or exploring the ancient city of Chichén Itzá, every day was a new adventure. And as for the food, the Yucatán is a foodie's paradise, with dishes as colorful as the culture. Language: Spanish, but in tourist areas you can get by just fine with English.

Affordability: € - Yucatán offers great experiences for every wallet, Tulum is an exception unfortunately.

Best time to travel: November-April to avoid the heat and rainy season.
