Going on holiday to the south of France soon? We are fans of the beautiful Côte D'Azur. From the more famous places such as St-Tropez and Cannes to the smaller pearls such as Grimaud and Bormes-Les-Mimosas. In this blog we share the 12 most beautiful places on the Côte D'Azur.
Grimaud & Port Grimaud

Grimaud is not far from busy St-Tropez. It is a charming and picturesque village, where you would love to take a photo of every medieval house! That's what we did! Have difficulty walking? Take into account that you will have to climb a bit here and there. Completely fit? Then be sure to climb to Chateau de Grimaud, where you have beautiful views over the villages.
Port Grimaud can be seen as the outer port of Grimaud and is located between the popular towns of Saint-Tropez and Sainte-Maxime. People often describe it as the Venice of France! Definitely nice to take a look here. We were more charmed by Grimaud!
Sainte-Maxime
Sainte Maxime is a pleasant seaside resort, where you can enjoy shopping during the day and enjoy a delicious meal in the evening. For example, we had dinner at Monsieur Bianca's , where we ate a well-filled pan of mussels. There is a diverse range of shops; from nice interior design shops to unique boutiques. St. Tropez
Saint-Tropez is the city that many people think of when they mention the Côte D'Azur! Logically, it is still nice to see all the splendor in the town. This way we could enjoy ourselves for hours looking at the superyachts and then looking up more information about the ships and their owners on the internet. Of course it is also fun to wander through the streets with the many shops. You will find beautiful shops there! Time and money left? Visit the Dior Café and enjoy a cup of coffee in the beautiful garden.
Frejus
Fréjus is located right next to Saint-Raphaël and both pictures are often seen as one. There are many wide sandy beaches where you can enjoy the wonderful temperature of the Mediterranean Sea in the summer. In addition to beaches, you will find remnants of the town's rich history. You will find an amphitheater there, which used to accommodate around 10,000 spectators. Today, events regularly take place here. Cogolin
Cogolin is a nice village overlooking the bay of Saint-Tropez. Visit Cogolin on a Wednesday or Saturday to wander around the nice market where you will find all kinds of fresh local products. This way you can score a nice lavender soap for the home front!
Bormes-les-Mimomas
Bormes-les-Mimomas is blooming! The town is known for its streets full of beautiful flowers. Our tip is therefore; wander around and enjoy all the colors and scents!

Plan de la Tour
It's like walking around in a painting! That is how we would describe this nice village in green surroundings with many vineyards. Because Plan de la Tour is located a little higher, you have a beautiful view of the Mediterranean Sea from here.
Cavalaire-sur-Mer
In Cavalaire-sur-Mer, the market, the beach and the harbor are central! Every Wednesday morning there is a beautiful colorful market with more than 100 stalls. There are also wide sandy beaches where you can relax. Want to know what else there is to do? View the website here .
Cannes
Seen enough villages? Then travel to Cannes! Known for the annual film festival which is held in May! Stroll along the boulevard La Croisette, explore the old Le Suqet district or visit the Musée de la Castre. Cannes is never boring!
